"Hello Darling: Letters From My Father," is a personal look at the romance of the author's parents, telling of their courtship and marriage using 84 letters her mother saved from the war years, including letters from the Pacific in 1944 and 1945. Her father served in the U.S. Navy on two destroyers, the USS Maury and the USS Williams, as a Fireman.
